Recently I was asked what the biggest reward of our music ministry is at our church. Here is how I responded.. Relationships with the people are the rewards for music ministry at Riverside Community Church, and hopefully at any local church. We could play the newest music, have the hippest worship leaders, boast the most impressive A/V and multi-media systems and play for the tens of thousands – but if we missed out on investing in loving relationships with the people we minister with and minister to from week to week – then we are at best resounding gongs and clanging cymbals. The passion and the beat of our music is found in the rhythm of daily relationships with the artists and participants in our worship services.
